Julie Kunce Field, J.D.

Attorney and Mediator

Julie Field has extensive experience as a litigator, mediator and arbitrator on a variety of domestic relations and civil matters. Along with her work as a mediator and arbitrator, she currently consults with attorneys around the country on significant appeals, including appeals to the United States Supreme Court, and teaches legal and ethical issues to national audiences. Prior to her work as a mediator and arbitrator for the Office of Dispute Resolution, she was in private practice as a civil and domestic relations litigator. Ms. Field has served as a law professor and law clinic director at the University of Michigan, Washburn Law School, and the University of Denver College of Law. Ms. Field is a 1985 graduate of the University of Chicago Law School, and a 1982 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In addition to being a member of the Colorado State Bar, Ms. Field has practiced in a number of federal courts, and she is a member of the bar for the United States Supreme Court, and the Sixth and Tenth Federal Circuit Courts of Appeals, and the Federal District Courts in Michigan, Massachusetts, Kansas, and Colorado.

Ms. Field conducts mediation, mediation/arbitration, and arbitration, in Larimer County through the Colorado Office of Dispute Resolution, and as a private mediator.

Carolyn Nalitz Sandifer, J.D.
Attorney and Mediator

Carolyn Nalitz Sandifer has extensive experience as a legal advocate, attorney, and mediator in domestic relations cases in Colorado. Ms. Sandifer graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2001 and Boston College in 1998, and has completed specific training in mediation through the Colorado State University School of Social Work. In addition to her work as a mediator, Ms. Sandifer currently volunteers as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) of Larimer County and as the Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Northern Colorado AIDS Project (NCAP).

Ms. Sandifer conducts mediation in Larimer County through the Office of Dispute Resolution.
